| Hawaiian Sun Investments, Inc. is proud to announce the Grand Re-Opening of the Hilo Plaza Building. Contributing to downtown Hilo's restoration efforts, the Hilo Plaza Building is currently being renovated to its original grandeur offering amenities and contemporary conveniences for the professional as well as the customer. The Hilo Plaza Building is situated in the heart of Hilo's downtown area, above the tsunami inundation zone and is unique for its location. A 3 story, concrete and steel building constructed in the late "60's" has an approximate 14,000 square foot of prime commercial retail & office space. Services include on site property management, security. ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) is a primary concern for any professional building in todays environment. The Hilo Plaza Building will be addressing and incorporating the ADA's basic requirements. Additions will include ground floor parking, limiting ground floor retail/office space. The idea to implement and designate a portion of the building as a "Technology Center" has come from a collaboration of existing tenants and potential businesses researching viable locations that meet these special needs. Working with GTE Hawaiian Tel the Hilo Plaza Building is incorporating the necessary infrastructure to include: 600 cable pair of phone lines, T-1, T-3 lines (data transmission lines) as well as additional conduits for fiber optics and CATV cable. Parking downtown has always been at a premium; We are currently exploring possibilities to provide covered parking on our ground floor. |
